Klein Collins' Hinojosa to forgo Senior season, join Longhorns for 2012

Class of 2012 Stand out CJ Hinojosa has informed the Klein Collins Coaching Staff that he plans to finish his Texas high school requirements with the first semester of the current school year and he will report to the Texas Longhorns in time for the spring season.

Hinojosa, a top 20 prospect nationally will leave a gaping hole in the middle of the Collins batting order and defense. Hinojosa willl have to complete nearly 2 semesters of requirements in only the one semester in order to reach his goal of joining the Longhorns for the 2012 season. But with Hinojosa’s high GPA and qualified S.A.T the only thing left to do is the cramming to get it all in during the first semester.

Hinojosa is a 2-time Gold Medalist with Team USA National 14U & 16U, a mutliple H5AB All Houston honoreee, a District MVP, and is ranked as high as the #13 Prospect Nationally.

Klein Collins 2012 graduates Austin Dean, & Cory Geisler is also committed to the University Of Texas. Collins’ 2014 prospect Jake Jarvis has also committed to Texas.
